Schedule

This is a general schedule, a more detailed schedule will be provided to those who register.

Friday:

6:15 PM Meet at Pioneer Park Pavilion.

6:30 - 8:30 PM - Fossil hunting workshop - Participate in a workshop on Florida fossils. In this workshop you will learn how to find fossils, what fossils to look for, and how to know a fossil from a rock. You will also learn how fossils are explained by the Bible. Attendance is required at this event for first timers and recommended for veterans.

Saturday:

8:30 AM - Meet at Crews Park in Wauchula, FL to put into the river by 9 AM. There are two fossil hunting options.

  1. Canoeing - We will canoe down river and stop at various places to fossil hunt. There is an extra charge of $25.00 per person for this option.

  2. Riverbank - We will go to a few different places along the river where fossils can be hunted from the river bank. No extra charge for this option.

4:00 PM (Approximately) - Take out of the river at Pioneer Park.

4:00 - 6:00 PM - Go to the the Pioneer Park pavilion to identify fossils found (this is required for all pursuant to State group license).

Sunday:

10:00 AM - Meet at the Pioneer Park pavilion to worship the Creator God. We will have singing, fellowship, and an exciting creation speaker.

12:00 PM - Program ends and everyone leaves with lots of fossils and big smiles.

You will need to make your own transportation and accommodation arrangements to Zolfo Springs, Florida.  There are various campgrounds, Bed and Breakfasts, and hotels.  Some options are as follows:
